Bike Lockers       Providing secure storage for individual bikes

In response to demand, Zaun have developed safe and secure bike lockers. Because the whole bike is enclosed, it eliminates the problem of quick release wheels being removed, and so is more secure than traditional bike stands. The lockers are available in any number, and can be ordered in a number of sets for positioning at different entrances to a school.

Individually lockable bike lockers

Product Description

Schools have made valuable inroads in to improving the health of their students. Healthier school dinners and the removal of vending machines make a valuable contribution, but to capitalise on this, children must be encouraged to lead more active lifestyles. The schools in which the lockers have been installed are very happy with the product, and have noticed a marked increase in the number of children cycling to school as they now have somewhere safe to store their bikes.

Robust stand for bike

The bike lockers use padlocks for each unit, and so allows students access to their bikes at any time. Other solutions such as 'security areas' which hold many bikes only allow access at certain times such as dinner time and home time, and so are inconvenient to many students. This simple locking mechanism is extremly robust and will withstand even the most heavy handed use.

Strong Locking System

The Bike Lockers are unobtrusive and are finished to the highest standard, ensuring that there are no sharp edges on which students could hurt themselves. The bolts used to keep the panels in place require a special tool to remove them, and so the bikes inside are kept secure.
The outer skin of the lockers can be a close 25x200mm mesh and so not even the smallest of hands would be able to squeeze through and vandalise the bikes.
The mesh also means that the contents of the lockers can be seen at a glance - other bike security products use solid panels and can be used for storing inappropriate items.
