Zaun fencing systems have recently made a significant investment in machinery allowing them to manufacture Bowtop railings. Zaun's popular product portfolio of mesh panel products suitable for sports, perimeter and security applications, will now be complemented by Bowtop railings.

For the manufacture of these Bowtop railings, 2 machines have been purchased. These are computer-controlled machines which will efficiently and effectively punch centralised holes into the bars and also bend the steel for the Bowtop. One of the machines is a bespoke machine from a major British manufacturer and the other machine has been customised by Zaun's in-house engineers so that it is geared up to meet very specific manufacturing demands.

A PAS30 compliant version of Bowtop is available for playgrounds, and Zaun are currently developing a new post for Bowtop railings which will allow almost limitless stepping and change of direction as the Bowtop is installed.
