Due to continued expansion
Zaun Limited has recently moved to a new site in the city of Wolverhampton.
Paul Painter,
Co-founder and Director of Zaun is thrilled with the new premises. “The
new site is fantastic in terms scale, functionality and location”
enthuses Paul. “At 50,000 sq ft the new site is 10 times the size
of the Windsor Estate site, and our production capacity has increased
accordingly. Our investment in technology, staff and machinery means that
our product is now better than ever, and the service we provide second
to none.”
The company now employs nearly 40 people, and will soon be recruiting
more highly skilled members of staff. The new year will see the appointment
of a dedicated production engineer and quality control manager, a necessary
step Paul says in ensuring that high standards are maintained during manufacturing,
resulting in a product that is second to none in terms of quality.
Zaun Ltd’s move to Wolverhampton is another example of the decentralisation
of industries from the heart of Birmingham.
“While it is typically thought that businesses thrive at the heart
of the CBD, when a space intensive business expands to this scale, the
costs of remaining in an area such as Birmingham become prohibitive”
says Paul. “Wolverhampton is the second largest city in the area,
and has fantastic infrastructure support. We are based on one of the main
routes in to the city and the site can accommodate storage and loading
of customers’ goods with ease.”
