The Zaun Hi-Sec system has recently been installed at the hi-tec educational facility, The London City Academy.

One of an ever increasing number of high profile clients, the Academy chose the Zaun product due to the companies reputation for delivering a precision engineered high quality product.

“The academy has invested heavily in high value/high technology teaching methods” said Paul Painter, Sales and Finance Director at Zaun. “As a consequence, the site requires a high level of security, not only to protect the resources from theft, but also to protect the pupils, each of which is issued with a laptop computer and could therefore be a potential target.”

Yet there is defiantly something different about the fence, which has been installed to allay these security concerns. “Standard prison mesh looks uninviting, un-inspirational and austere, and having such a fence around one of the countries premier education facilities would have been incongruent with the academy’s primary goal of developing young minds”, continues Paul. “To combat some of the inherent elements of this type of fence, the fencing was designed to look visually appealing, using angled posts and a colour scheme uncommon to that type of fence.”
