Why you should choose temporary fencing for your local event

If you are in charge of securing and protecting a local event, you may be wondering whether you should invest in security fencing? Here at Zaun, we understand that security fencing might seem a little unwieldy and cost-intensive for a small, local event. But whether it’s a local contest, sporting or musical event, it’s still important to protect your event from criminal intruders or those trying to avoid paying entry.

Luckily, there is a solution. Instead of purchasing a standard fencing solution, you can choose to rent temporary security fencing. Temporary fencing is the ideal security solution for local events as it is highly effective and doesn’t present the same challenges as permanent fencing.

1. Temporary fencing is easy to install and remove

Unlike long-term fencing solutions, temporary fencing doesn’t need to be dug into the ground or locked in place using other permanent methods. It can be set up quickly and easily but will remain in place and stand up to prospective intruders effectively. It can also be removed with far greater ease than conventional fencing solutions when you’re done with it. This makes it ideal for smaller local events as it can be set up and removed quickly. You won’t have to start setting up days or weeks in advance, which can be disruptive if the area used for the event is in use the rest of the time. Instead, you can set it up right before the event and take it away again immediately after.

2. Temporary fencing is versatile

Because they are easy to set up and uninstall, temporary fencing solutions can be partially uninstalled and set up again to deal with changing circumstances. In other words, you can change the arrangement of your fencing, even after it has been installed. For example, if the site of your event moves slightly, or you unexpectedly find that you need your perimeter to encompass extra space, it’s easy to move temporary fencing. This is particularly useful for local events as their organisation tends to be less rigid than major events, making them slightly more unpredictable.

3. Temporary fencing is very cheap to rent

Unlike major events, local events often have minimal budgets. Consequently, you may not wish to spend large sums of money on purchasing a fencing solution. However, temporary fencing can be rented at a very affordable rate, meaning that you won’t have to break the bank to get fixed perimeters and security.

Here at Zaun, we are delighted to provide ultra-secure, highly flexible temporary fencing. Head over to our product pages to find out more.
