The PSSA HVM is the trade association for companies involved in the supply of equipment and services designed to provide the highest levels of physical protection for sites and their perimeters from terrorist or criminal attack that involves the use of extreme force, vehicles or explosives.
Over the course of the last few years, Zaun has become a dominant force in this sector, taking on security specialist Chris Plimley and cementing its position as a forerunner in the field by winning the contract to supply 17km of high security perimeter fencing and CCTV to the Olympic site.
The council meeting took place at Zaun’s manufacturing facility, in the new conference facility designed to host just such occasions. Paul Painter, Zaun’s director of sales and finance was presented with the first membership certificate by Laurence Goode, PSSA HVM Chairman.
Members of the association supply a wide range of high performance products including perimeter fences and walls, vehicle barriers and blockers, bollards, high security gates, security blinds together with other specialist equipment developed for this demanding sector of the security market. A range of expert consultancy services is also available from association members.
