Zaun is making its return to the biannual Fencex show today with its latest range of security rated fencing.
Fencex 2014 is a sell-out with 52 stands with many overseas exhibitors across three adjacent halls at Stoneleigh Exhibition Park near Coventry.
We will be on stand 30 of the Warwick Suite showcasing our latest products and services, such as our SR1-rated Duo and HiSec, along with our sports SuperRebound range alongside UK rivals and companies from Germany, France, Belgium and Australia.
The one-day show takes place during UK Gate Safety Week. Powered Safety Gate Group chairman Neil Sampson says: “Gate Safety Week is all about raising awareness of the dangers of using a poorly installed or maintained powered gate in the hope that we can prevent any further deaths or injuries.”
The security ratings to LPS 1175 are bestowed by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), as tested by the Buildings Research Establishment (BRE).
To maintain accreditation and a listing in the LPCB Red Book (redbooklive.com), manufacturers must regularly demonstrate to independent auditors that they produce products consistent with those tested. This gives the customer the guarantee that they are getting a secure and quality product.
Products approved by LPCB are rigorously tested for resistance to deliberate attack and play an important role in protecting people and property against physical attack, burglary, vandalism and terrorism.
LPS 1175 specifically covers the approval and listing of intruder resistant building components, strongpoints, security enclosures and free-standing barriers.
