Paul Painter exited the business fully in 2017, leaving Alastair Henman as the sole owner of this private British company, mesh manufacturing in the UK.
Zaun is the largest manufacturer of welded and woven mesh fencing systems in the UK. Designing and manufacturing high-quality fencing for perimeter security and sports and MUGAs. Zaun works closely with architects, main contractors, local authorities, fencing contractors and security consultants to get their fencing systems specified and ensure that the fencing is fit for purpose for the end client.
Zaun has several products that have been independently tested and approved to the latest security standards, including LPCB LPS1175 Issue 8 from A1 to D10 ratings, CPNI ratings at Base, High and Enhanced, NOMs Approved fencing for working with Prisons and MHUs, Secured By Design approval and Crash Rated systems to BSI PAS 68.

Continual investment in personnel and equipment at our five-acre site in the West Midlands has ensured that Zaun has the most modern machinery and production software. This reduces wastage and speeds up production times, giving us the edge over our competition.
Zaun offers a complete service from initial site survey through to manufacture. Our standard and bespoke systems are high quality and are used by corporate, residential and local authority sectors.
Zaun’s products are manufactured in strategically located, purpose-built factories in the UK. We also have key regional offices in France and Dubai that serve our customers across continental Europe and the Middle East. In addition, we distribute globally to a host of countries. All of our factories and processes are accredited to ISO9001:2015 standards.
Our facilities are purpose-built, enabling us to offer a wide range of product sizes giving a range our competitors can only marvel at.
Our designers develop bespoke product solutions alongside our standard systems. This flexibility means we can produce fencing to exact requirements and support you with CAD designs and 3D illustrations and technical drawings.

All Zaun fencing systems are manufactured in one of our factories in Wolverhampton and range from sports fencing, MUGAs and playground railings to demarcation fencing and high-security perimeter fencing for a variety of applications.
