Zaun highlights high security oil station fencing at Infra Oman

Zaun showed its British-made high-security oil station fencing systems installed by Oman’s premier oil company at the fifth staging of Infra Oman, the Sultanate’s international exhibition for infrastructure and industrial projects.

Zaun majored in its HiSec 358 perimeter security fencing with Binns FST topping, HiSec Super 6 and a range of access control solutions.  The Flexible Steel Topping (FST) system is fully tested for use in UK high-security prisons. At the heart of FST is a steel mesh arch, curved back over the top of a steel fence, fixed to a flexible steel bracket designed to move when people try to climb it.

HiSec 358 was Zaun’s original high-security fence, with a mesh configuration to repel potential intruders, leading to its use by the Home Office for several UK prisons.

Zaun was one of almost 250 exhibitors at the show in Muscat from 5 to 7 October, attended by around 4000 delegates from across the Middle East and beyond.

Zaun won a prestigious pilot contract worth almost £1.5 million from Petroleum Development Oman to supply HiSec 358 fencing, crash-rated entry and exit gates, razor wire, PIDs and CCTV to form inner and outer cordons around the Nahada and Hubara oil booster stations.

In addition, we exhibited our highest-rated ArmaWeave, which is used at several high-profile maximum-security installations across the UK.
