New PSSA website adds benefits for members

The Perimeter Security Suppliers’ Association’s (PSSA) members can now reap added benefits following the recent launch of the association’s new website. Over the last few months, the PSSA has introduced several new services for members. The new website provides information on these, raises awareness of member product ranges, and bolsters the association’s general presence to a wider audience.

Simon Towers, PSSA Chairman, comments: “We are pleased to have launched the new website, which is a key building block to further developing awareness of the PSSA and its key objective,  encouraging the use of professionally manufactured, installed and independently tested, high-performance external perimeter protection products.”

The need for security perimeter protection is a dominant issue in the national and international headlines. In addition, the UK pipeline of projects of strategic importance, such as Hinkley Point and HS2, is likely to stimulate demand for PSSA members’ products further – as the London 2012 Olympics and Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games did in the past.

The PSSA remains committed to building relationships with key industry stakeholders and, in support of this, the new website provides more information than ever before on the independently tested products available from its members, all of whom are thoroughly assessed on key criteria before membership is approved.

The combination of independent product performance verification plus organisational vetting is designed to give clients and contractors the peace of mind that in using a PSSA member, they are using a highly reputable perimeter security supplier.
