The Security Institute has welcomed Zaun Limited as a corporate partner.

Security Institute chairman Garry Evanson officially presented Zaun with its membership certificate at the Security & Counter Terror Expo 2017 at London’s Kensington Olympia to signify Zaun’s commitment to the Institute and the security industry whole.

He said: “Corporate partnership is a growing initiative for security businesses to join our drive to promote the highest possible standards of integrity and professional competence in the industry.  We are delighted to welcome Zaun as a corporate partner.”

Zaun sales and marketing director Chris Plimley added: “Zaun supports the Security Institute’s mission to deliver quality to the sector, value to organisations and confidence to society.  Our becoming a security institute partner is a public declaration of our support and gives us a seat at The Institute’s highest table to work together to those goals.”

The Security Institute is a not for profit organisation established in 1999 for the benefit of individuals working in the security sector. It is the UK’s largest professional membership body for security professionals.

It promotes the art and science of security management. It works to drive standards, educate and spread best practices across the security sector – a sector responsible for the safety of much of the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure.

The Institute is responsible for managing and operating the Register of Chartered Security Professionals on behalf of the WCoSP. In conjunction with the Registration Authority, it sets standards, provides quality control, appointment and management of licensees and admitted registrants.
