RIBA-approved CPD RIBA CPDAt Zaun, we’re committed to ensuring specifiers and consultants can find fencing solutions that are most suitable for the project they are working on. To that end, we’re proud to announce that we have renewed our RIBA CPD membership, allowing us to spread our insight and fencing expertise better.

What is the CPD?

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is a requirement for ongoing professional membership with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The CPD network allows manufacturers of a broad range of products to educate architects on their manufacture specifics. This allows architects to maintain their professional membership and gain a continually improving understanding of a broad range of products.

What does this mean for Zaun?

CPD membership is an opportunity for us to spread our considerable knowledge and understanding of fencing products and applications. We believe passionately in the products we manufacture, and through our ability to take part in CPD presentations, we’re able to explain their features and benefits better. The key to every great build is understanding the products available and how they can be best utilised, and our CPD membership allows that.

The architects who work with us benefit from knowing that all of the presentation materials we use have been reviewed and accredited by the RIBA. Not only does this give them peace of mind about the quality of said materials, but it’s also worth double the learning points compared to non-CPD approved materials.

Our ongoing commitment

At Zaun, we’re committed to helping architects better understand the specifics of different fencing requirements and how our products uniquely serve those needs. We aim to provide architects and specifiers with all the tools they need to specify the right fence for their project to the right standards.

The ongoing renewal of our involvement with the RIBA CPD program is a testament to our commitment to providing the highest possible quality learning resources, developed and created with the benefit of our considerable industry experience. This allows architects, designers, and building professionals to make more informed decisions.

The Zaun CPD program is an invaluable fencing learning resource. Not every fence fits every solution; sometimes, it is not appropriate to specify a fencing system that has a delay of 3 minutes when the response time is 1 minute, a perimeter fencing system isn’t always suitable for sports applications, and HVM gates aren’t always required to stop a hostile vehicle. The Zaun Riba Approved CPD will provide specifiers with an understanding of how to specify the correct fence and other standards that will guarantee the lifeline and quality of the fencing they are specifying.
