Fawns give Gorse Hall kids more inspirational play

A primary school in Greater Manchester is enjoying improved break and lunch play and sports activities since installing a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA).

Gorse Hall Primary School in Stalybridge wanted to increase the space available for the children at break and lunchtimes and offer the school sports teams a place to train in all weathers all year round.

They commissioned Farnborough-based Fawns Recreational Services Ltd to install the MUGA. Fawns, which supplies inspirational play for parks, schools & nurseries, turned to sports fencing expert Zaun for the MUGA fencing.

The MUGA incorporates Zaun’s Duo Sports twin wire sport fencing range, with ‘Super Rebound’, a tighter 50mm x 66.6mm mesh pattern that offers a quieter and more attractive alternative to standard wooden rebound boards, along the sides of the pitch and the lower 1.2 metres of the ends, which also incorporate recessed goals.

Clamp bar covering panel ends ensures a safe playing surface with no sharp edges.
