The rapid rollout, relocation and removal of holistic temporary high-security protection came together seamlessly and to customer acclaim at International Security Expo (ISEC) stand F41.
Four partners have combined their innovations and expertise with offering the most comprehensive and speedily installed solutions on the market.
At the heart of the solutions are Highway Care Security Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) barriers, TSP Projects’ ‘Bi-Steel’ pedestrian access barges, and Zaun steel mesh fencing systems that have long formed part of the National Barrier Asset (NBA) – and were deployed this year at Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle.
They have combined these with the latest innovations in rapidly-deployed pulse-monitored and detection systems from Harper Chalice.
The four partners teamed up to offer the full package to the 12,500 visitors to ISEC, from CPNI-approved fencing, architectural landscape products and temporary barriers, to intrusion detection PIDs, vehicle immobilisation and even advance radar surveillance.
Principal among the innovations on ISEC stand F41 were:
- The original rapid-deploy anti-vehicle and electric barrier fencing system – first used in tandem on the London 2012 Olympics – is now even quicker and easier to roll out with a pre-configured ‘ends’ to pulse-protected ‘zones’.
Harper Chalice has developed RapidPulse, a pre-configured ‘start’ and ‘stop’ to each pulse-monitored ‘zone’ to deploy its PulseSecure electric fence technology rapidly.
These are anchored between pairs of posts with crossed bracing bars specially created by Zaun to bear the load of the electric cabling above any Zaun mesh fencing mounted into the established SecureGuard HVM temporary barrier fencing system from Highway Care Security.
- A new QuickFit post system for Zaun’s multi-award-winning Rapid Deployment System (RDS) operates with RapidSecure, a ‘plug & play’ variant of Harper Chalice’s FenceSecure, to offer a speedily-installed temporary HVM and detection fencing system.
- TSP Projects’ range of HVM products that formed a part of the UK’s National Barrier Asset and were selected to form a “ring of steel” around the royal weddings of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank.
- In addition, Zaun sponsored the now-legendary delegates drinks reception at the close of the first day’s proceedings.
ISEC, formerly the UK Security Expo, showcased over 1,000 of the latest innovative security products to help improve security.
